A note from Julia

Hi!
Here are some more fun events happening in our area! I know that it
is a busy time for everyone with proms, etc., but I hope you get a
chance to check some of these out!

Also, if you have not made your flight arrangements yet, please contact
your local coordinator ASAP to finalize those arrangements. It is also a
good time to start doing a “dry run” of packing to see if you need to
ship some things back home. The airlines allow two bags, 70 lbs. each
and one carry on. Anything that cannot fit in those three items needs to
be shipped before you leave. I have learned that if you have books or
papers to ship back home, you can pack those up and go to the post
office and ask for it to be shipped “bagmail”. It is 80% cheaper to ship
that way and sometimes can be faster than ground mail. Unfortunately,
you cannot send clothes that way…only books and papers. If you have any
questions, just let us know!

I hope you all are enjoying your end of the year activities! We love to
receive pictures of exciting events, so please send them on if you have
any, and we will put them in the photo album.

Thanks!!!

Julia
