Festival of India
The India Association of Charlotte is proud to showcase the cultural heritage of the Asian-Indian community at the forthcoming 11th Annual Festival of India. It presents a unique opportunity for Charlotte area residents to experience the diversity of Indian foods (e.g. Chicken Tandoori, Bhel Poori, and Gulab Jamun), entertainment, and cultures of India without leaving the comfort of Charlotte.The event will include displays of the arts and crafts of India, historical information, live dance performances by members of the Indian community of Charlotte, a fashion parade, and a special exhibit on "Tourism in India" among other events.
